Shearing is such a busy time and I enjoy the sights, sounds and colours of shearing. This painting captures the ewes as they wait in the back pens to head up into the shed to be shorn. The light is flooding into the entrance of the shed and lights up the wool.  This painting was time consuming but fun to paint.
